bin auf dem Gebiet Linux ein totaler Neuling

ich habe einen Router von Fritz (Fritz!Box DSL mit 2 LAN Anschlüssen)
dazu eine cd zum einrichten auf jedem pc


aber linux kann keine .exe Dateien öffnen oder? wie kann ich mit linux ins internet gehen?

als Linux Anfänger empfehle ich dir dringend auf den button zu klicken >Betriebssysteme und Office >der Linuxanfänger

das was Mango schon geschrieben hat kann ich nur unterstreichen

Linux ist kein Klickibuntibetriebssystem, wo du viel durch Intiuition erreichen kannst.
Wenn du dich mit Linux beschäftigen willst, mußt du viel lesen und da ist der o.g. Link als Einstieg hervorragend

Vergibt dein Router die IP´s per DHCP?
SuSE konfiguriert (erkannte) Netzwerkkarten automatisch mit DHCP.

Schonmal spaßenshalber einfach den Browser aufgemacht und ´ne Adresse eingegeben? Augenzwinkern

Angenehme Nacht!

Da ich gerade ein wenig mit demselben Problem zu kämpfen hatte, möchte ich Dir auch DIESEN Link ans Herz legen. Mir hat das wesentlich mehr geholfen.

Das ist eigentlich alles ganz einfach.

So muss das aussehen.

vi /etc/conf.d/net

# This blank configuration will automatically use DHCP for any net.*
# scripts in /etc/init.d. To create a more complete configuration,
# please review /etc/conf.d/net.example and save your configuration
# in /etc/conf.d/net (this file Freude !).
config_eth0=( "192.168.10.234 netmask 255.255.255.0" )
routes_eth0=( "default gw 192.168.10.2" )

vi /etc/resolv.conf

nameserver 192.168.10.10


Wenn es wie oben eingetragen ist und eth0 beim default startup ist sollte es gehen.

Um manuell das Netzwerkeinzurichten machst du das als root,

ifconfig eth0 WUNSCHIP netmask 255.255.255.0

route add default gw GATEWAYIP

oder

ifconfig eth0 dhcp

Musst halt bei jedem neustart machen.
