beim Patchday am Dienstag gabs auch einige optionale Updates, darunter das Kernel- und User Mode Driver Framework Version 1.11, das Windows 8 auch besitzt

hier im KB2685811 Artikel gibts alle Infos dazu

Microsoft empfiehlt die Installation, also schaut nach, ob es schon installiert wurde

es gibt ein optionales Update für Windows Vista und Windows 7, das die Zusammenarbeit mit Windows 8 verbessern soll, was auch immer damit gemeint ist

wer nicht mit Windows 8 arbeitet, kann das Update aber ignorieren oder?

wie ich schon schrieb ist es ein optionales Update und wenn du kein Windows 8 verwendest, macht dieses Update auch nicht so richtig Sinn Augenzwinkern

Microsoft hat in der Nacht auf heute einen Patch bereitgestellt, der die vor kurzem aufgetauchte Sicherheitslücke in den Versionen 6, 7 und 8 des Internet Explorers schließt, aber nur provisorisch

der IE Patch wird heute abend über Windows Update ausgerollt

betroffen sind aber eh nur der IE 6, 7 und 8

es gibt neue Office Hotfix Pakete für Office 2007 bis Office 2013

das sind optionale Updates, die werden nicht über Windows Update ausgerollt !


also bitte vorher lesen welcher Hotfix welches Problem betrifft und erst dann anfordern, Prophylaxe bringt nichts, im Gegenteil

für Office 2010 wirds bald ein neues Servicepack geben, da werden wohl dann einige Hotfixes dabei sein oder?

Vorsichtt bei dem Plattform Update für Windows 7 und dem Internet Explorer 10

beides verträgt sich noch nicht besonders gut, es wird von einem weiteren Update bei MS gesprochen, um die Bugs zu beseitigen

Microsoft-Hotfix behebt Probleme mit fehlerhaften Backups


natürlich nur dann installieren, wenn das Problem vorhanden ist !
