kann ich bei dem Email Client einfach seine Mails sichern oder brauchts dafür wieder mal Tools von Drittanbietern?

externe Tools braucht da man normal nicht, einfach den Ordner %appdata%\Thunderbird sichern, das reicht schon wenn du Windows 7 hast

ein gutes Tool zum TB Backup wäre MOZ Backup

wir haben Windows 7
den Ordner hab ich gesichert und das Tool schau ich mir an

ich hab mich für MOZ Backup entschieden
außerdem hab ich jetzt auch True Image 2011 und das beides als Backup sollte reichen Augenzwinkern

Genau das selbe Duo habe ich hier auch am werkeln. Das reicht dicke. Mir ist noch keine einzige Mail verloren gegangen.

ein gutes Backup Tool für die schnelle Sicherung und ein gutes Image Programm für die globale Sicherung, viel mehr geht nicht wenn die Daten auf einer separaten Festplatte lagern
