hallo

ich hab ein riesen Problem

mein neues Asus P5Q-E mit neuestem Bios erkennt meine 4Gb Mushkin nicht richtig und wenn dann nur mit deutlich niedrigeren Timings

es ist dieser Speicher

mit den Volts hab ich schon rumgespielt und auch mit diesen Einstellungen:

CAS# Latency: 5
DRAM RAS# to CAS# Delay: 4
DRAM RAS# Precharge: 4
DRAM RAS# Activate to Precharge: 12
RAS# to RAS# Delay : 4(3-4)
Row Refresh Cycle Time: 60(55-60)
Write Recovery Time: 6(5-6)
Read to Precharge Time: 4(2-4)
READ to WRITE Delay (S/D): 9(7-10)
Write to Read Delay (S): 4(3-4)
WRITE to READ Delay (D): 5(4-5)
READ to READ Delay (S): 6(4-6)
READ to READ Delay (D): 6
WRITE to WRITE Delay (S): 5(4-5)
WRITE to WRITE Delay (D): 6(4-6)
WRITE to PRE Delay:14(13-14)
READ to PRE Delay: 6
PRE to PRE Delay: 1
ALL PRE to ACT Delay: 6
ALL PRE to REF Delay: 6
DRAM Static Read Control: Disabled(Try enabled too)
DRAM Read Training: Auto
MEM. OC Charger: Auto
AI Clock Twister: Lightest
AI Transaction Booster: Manual
Common Performance Level: 8(5-7 may also be possible, lower results in better performance normally)
Pull-In of CHA PH1: DISABLED
Pull-In of CHA PH2: DISABLED
Pull-In of CHA PH3: DISABLED
Pull-In of CHA PH4: DISABLED
Pull-In of CHB PH1: DISABLED
Pull-In of CHB PH2: DISABLED

DRAM Voltage: 2.0-2.1v

es bleibt wie es ist
mit 4er Timings werden nur 2GB erkannt oder der Rechner friert ein

stell ich die Timings runter auf 5 oder 6 wirds langsam besser

mit memtest hab ich einzeln geprüft, keine Fehler

was soll ich tun? nenedu

Markus scheint nicht da zu sein nenedu

hast du die Module auch mal in die beiden anderen Speicherslots gesteckt?

hast du Asus mal nach Beta Bios gefragt? weil die haben sehr oft auch noch was in der Entwicklung, was man nur auf Anfrage bekommt

das Umsetzten in den Slots brachte leider nichts
aber das mit dem Bios und Asus versuch ich mal

erstmal sorry das ich Dir so lange eine Antwort schuldig geblieben bin :( irgendetwas stimmt mit meinen Benachrichtigungsoptionen nicht !?

Doch nun zu Deinem Problem...

Es verwundert mich sehr und ehrlich gesagt hatte ich zuvor noch nie mit solch einem Phänomen zu tun.
5-4-4-12 2x2 GB laufen prima auf dem p5q jedoch 4-4-4-12 nur mit 2x1 GB?

Ohne jetzt eine Vermutung, der Fehler liegt am Mainboard (kann ich mir wirklich nicht vorstellen) zu haben, bitte ich Dich uns Deinen Speicher zur RMA einzusenden.

Dafür benötigst Du keine RMA Nummer, Du wirst bei uns mit Dienem Namen erfasst...bitte sende uns den Speicher Kit mit einer Rechnungskopie und Fehlerbeschreibung an:

Solltest Du keine Rechnungskopie oder gar eine Original Rechnung haben so lass uns bitte Wissen wo Du das Speicherkit erstanden hast.

aber ich war inzwischen bei meinem Händler und er hat den Speicher ausgetauscht

jetzt läuft es
