für die Playstation 4 Pro gibt es ein neues Update

das Update erlaubt den Nutzern, Videos in 4K-Auflösung auf der Konsole abzuspielen. Die entsprechenden Inhalte können von einem USB-Speichergerät oder von einem Heimserver aus abgerufen werden. Besitzer der PlayStation VR können zudem die 4K-Videos als Virtual-Reality-Content ansehen.

wenn der im Netz kursierende Preis von 400 € stimmt wird das Teil ein Megaseller, von der Technik her sowieso

Die Nintendo Switch erhält ein neues Firmware-Update. Die neue Firmware trägt die Nummer 2.3.0 und ist laut Nintendo Support ein reines Performance-Update. Die Aktualisierung ist ab sofort erhältlich und kann geladen werden.

Microsoft hat auf der E3 2017 seine nächste Konsole offiziell angekündigt. Die bislang als Xbox Scorpio bekannte Konsole wird am 7. November 2017 als Xbox One X zu einem Preis von 499 Euro in den Handel bekommen. Die Leistung soll für 4K ohne Abstriche ausreichen und die Konsole dank neuer Kühlung trotzdem besonders klein ausfallen.

nun ja, wer gedacht hat das es für 500 € eine Konsole mit echtem nativem 4K Support geben wird, dürfte sich wieder einmal ärgern, auch die Xbox One X kann das nicht

Nintendo hat die neue Firmware 3.0 für die Switch veröffentlicht, die viele neue Features bietet. Beispielsweise wird die Suche nach verschwundenen Controllern erleichtert, indem in Reichweite befindliche Geräte auf Wunsch vibrieren. Ebenfalls neu sind die Unterstützung von USB-Tastaturen und neue Funktionen bei Freunden.

zwei News zur Xbox One X

1. Das Rennspiel F1 2017 von Entwicklerstudio Codemasters läuft bereits auf Microsofts Xbox One X in nativem 4K mit 60 Frames pro Sekunde sowie HDR, wie Creative Director Lee Mathers auf der E3 verriet. Finalisiert sei das Spiel auf der kommenden Konsole jedoch noch nicht. Zwar stehen Auflösung und Framerate, doch in Sachen Grafik-Details soll noch einiges angepasst werden.

2. Xbox One X ist inzwischenn bei einigen Händlern gelistet, Vorbestellungen sind aber frühestens ab der Gamescom möglich, also nicht vor August 2017
