bei der steigenden Beliebtheit dieser Karten sollten wir mal anfangen etwas mehr darüber zu sammeln, ich denke es lohnt sich

die wichtigsten Treiber hat Peschel hier schon drin

wie ist das bei den Karten mit den Stromanschlüssen? die eine brauchts einen, die andere nicht

gibts da für die Xonar eine Regel oder wovon hängt das ab?

das hängt davon ab in welcher Schnittstelle die Karten laufen

eine Xonar PCI braucht keine zusätzliche Stromversorgung, eine Xonar PCIe schon

jedenfalls hab ich das so verstanden

das stimmt auch
ich hab mal alle durchgeguckt, da ist mir noch was aufgefallen, nämlich die Art des Stromanschlußes

es gibts Xonars die brauchen einen 5,25" 4-pin Molex Anschluß und es gibts Xonar Karten, die brauchen den alten 3.5" Diskettenstromanschluß, der dann teilweise nicht mal als Adapter mitgeliefert wird, da muß man dann halt gucken ob das eigene Netzteil sowas noch hat

wie schon in dem verlinkten Thread besprochen, das Klicken des Relais ist normal und jede mir bekannte Asus Xonar Soundkarte verfügt über diesen sinnvollen Schutz-Mechanismus

was hab ich mich schon über das abartige Geknacke im Headset geärgert, die an einer Creative XFI laufen, da fliegen einem die Ohren weg

sowas gibts also bei Xonar Soundkarten nicht?
