das vergiss mal ganz schnell
wenn du eine Soundkarte testen willst, brauchst du etwas mehr als einen Rechner, eine Kamera und irgendeine Software

da muß professionelles Testequipment her, eine gute Raumakustik muß vorhanden sein, am besten ein Studio und sowas kostet sehr viel Geld

kein Wunder also, warum es so gut wie keine aussagekräftigen Soundkarten Tests gibt

na mal sehn, wenn ich dieses Jahr mein Urlaubgsgeld krieg ist vielleicht auch ne Xonar drin

so einen pro Test kann ich aber nicht bieten Augenzwinkern

ein paar objektive Eindrücke sind meistens viel mehr wert als gesponsorte "Tests" Augenzwinkern

hallo leute
ein kurzer Bericht zu meiner Xonar Phoebus:

der neue Kopfhörerverstärker funktioniert wirklich gut und klingt auch gut (Sennheiser HD600), solange man gute Musikquellen hat

dann hörts mit der Lobelei aber auch schon auf

die Treiber funktionieren übelst schlecht, aus Battlefield 3 fliegt man nach spätestens 10 Minuten raus und Asus kommt mit neuen Treibern nicht nach, obwohl das Problem schon seit Wochen bekannt ist

im Xear 3D Modus ist der Hall extrem, so das TeamSpeak so gut wie unmöglich ist

schaltet man auf Dolby Home Theater v4 um, wirds zwar besser, aber das ist simpelste Notebook Technik, dafür brauch keine 170 € Soundkarte


Fazit: ich tausch sie gegen eine ASUS Xonar Essence STX, PCIe

die Pheobus wird erst mal gestrichen, ich beobachte aber trotzdem was sich da neuen Treibern so tut und ob sich was bessert

ich würd mir die D1 oder die ASUS Xonar D2X, PCIe x1 holen, damit hast du keine Probleme, auch nicht was die Treiber angeht

ich bin aber noch in der les und lernphase und will erst mal alles über die Karten wissen, da spielt der Kauf noch keine Rolle

für die Xonar Phoebus gibts einen neuen Treiber

Beta Version 7.0.1.20

1. Fixed occasional compatibility issue with Battle Field 3 and Punkbuster.
2. Please uninstall older driver completely before installing new driver.
3. Please do not switch Xonar Phoebus to other PCI-E slots when Xonar driver of any version is installed. If you want to change slot, please make sure the driver has been uninstalled completely.
4. Current know issue: ASIO can’t function under some occasions

kommt für mich zu spät
ist auch fraglich ob es an meinen Problemen mit der Phoebus wirklich was geändert hätte, steht zwar im Logfile, aber ich glaub nur was ich sehe

das sind gleich zwei Punkte zum selben Thema

wenn ich sowas lese werd ich skeptisch ob Asus die Treiber wirklich im Griff haben, normal sollte eine gut programmierte Treiberroutine die alten Treiber automatisch entfernen

weder auf CD noch bei Asus auf der Homepage verwirrt
