hallo
erst dachte ich ich hab noch Restalkohol, aber nun hab ich gestern das zweite Asus Z68 Board verbaut und wieder ist mir aufgefallen, das die Ram Module beim Ersteinbau nicht richtig sitzen

kann es sein, das mit den Ram Slots bei den Brettern irgendwas nicht stimmt? oder woran liegt es, das die Module nicht richtig sitzen? natürlich kommen dann jede menge BSODs

Ein Bild würde die Sache etwas veranschaulichen - ich habe die Z68 hier und kein sonderliches Problem :-)

das Problem ist schon gelöst
ich hab die Slots freigeruckelt, wie hier von euch empfohlen Augenzwinkern

ich dachte eher das Du meinst das die Module nicht einrasten ;-)

Das mit dem Freiruckeln kommt immer öfter vor, keine Ahnung was die SLOTs für Probleme da haben momentan...

ich weiß auch nicht was das soll
früher hat man die Arretierhebel zurückgelegt, die Module eingesteckt, zweimal klickklack und dann saß das ohne großen Kraftaufwand saugend und schmatzend perfekt

heuer bin ich nicht mehr sicher, ob die Module wirklich komplett eingerastet sind

Jepp, bist nicht der einzige der das merkwürdig findet - in diesem Sinne ist es eher "Function follows Design" ;-)

ich hab das mal mitgelesen aber so recht verstehe ich es noch nicht

wie genau muß man denn die Ram Bänke freiruckeln? gibts da eine Prinzipskizze oder sowas ähnliches?

Das liegt am MSI Board - du biegst nichts - du gehst nur bis in den Anschlag - bis zu der Schräglage bei dem Board bspw. ist das locker auch mit dem kleinen Finger ohne Gewalt machbar ;-)

Das ist von Board zu Board unterschiedlich - wichtig ist das man in den Anschlag geht beim Freiruckeln aber halt nicht darüber hinaus - einfach bis man den Wiederstand spürt gehen dann stop und zur anderen seite bis man dort den Wiederstand spürt - das paar mal so und das für jeden SLOT.

wichtig ist den RAM gut zu halten und nicht nur mit 1-2 Fingern da man dann ungleichmäßigen Druck ausübt - es muss gleichmäßig und nur ganz leichter Druck sein - keine Gewalt!

Das sieht beim MSI Board zugegeben Brutal aus, ist es aber nicht die wackeln so locker flockig vor sich hin ;-)

auch dabei den Ram leicht in den SLOT Reindrücken so das er sich dabei nicht herausdrück, man will ja die Pins im Sockel frei machen und nicht den RAM ;-)

wie man das macht habt ihr gut beschrieben und das Video ist auch ganz anschaulich

aber was sitzt denn da schlecht, die Kotaktpins des Slots oder was genau?

Die Pins sind starr und verkannten in Ihrer Slotführung (die Pins im Slot) sind nicht freigängig genug oder minimal krum etc. :-)

Einzelfälle - aber schon einige mehr als üblich - so dass man es schon 2-3 mal am Tag von Kunden berichtet bekommt (ist aber bei der Menge an Infos die wir bekommen) nichts dramatisches ;-)

ich hab meine neuen Vengeance so wie beschrieben in ein Asus Z68 Board eingesetzt

ich meine alles richtig gemacht zu haben, na jedenfalls läuft das System sehr sauber
