nabend zusammen

ich habe das Z97-Pro Gamer und geliehenen DDR3 RAM von Corsair, das System läuft so einigermaßen gut

kaufen wollte ich 2x 8GB Module also 16 GB von G.skill, das Problem ist nun das der nicht in der QVL Liste von Asus steht und G.Skill schreibt nur das der RAM laufen sollte, soll ich den trotzdem kaufen ?

um das zu beurteilen brauchen wir mehr Daten, um welchen Speicher von G.Skill geht es konkret ?

das Bios sollte unbedingt aktuell sein, das schon mal als Grundvorrausetzung !

die QVL Ram Liste von Asus ist nicht aktuell und nur eine ungefähre Orientierung

wenn G.Skill grünes Licht gibt, probier den Ram aus und stell ihn im Bios auf die XMP Profile ein, damit muß der Ram laufen

tut er es nicht tausch ihn um

schau dir einfach mal die letzten DDR3 Tests von Cerberus an, da steht alles drin mit passenden Bildern

wie hoch kann oder sollte ich denn megahertz-mäßig maximal gehen damit es stabil läuft?

der Z97 Chipsatz samt Intel Haswell CPU fängt bei DDR3-1600 an und endet je nach Board bei DDR3-2400

einige wenige sehr teure Z97 Bretter mögen noch mehr können, aber das ist eh rausgeworfenes Geld, weil man davon nichts merkt

hol dir lieber was solides in DDR3-1600, dann hast du garantiert keine Probleme

mehr als DDR3-1600 würde ich auf dem Asus Brett auch nicht einbauen, das Board hat blos 4 Phasen als Spannungswandler, das ist nicht besonders viel zum übertakten

na bitte und hätte mich auch gewundert wenn nicht, Intel Z97 Systeme sind eigentlich ziemlich pflegeleicht und unkompliziert wenn man den richtigen RAM erwischt hat
