verwirrt Hallo!!

Meine Schwester hat einen Pentium 4 1,4GHZ und brauch ne neue Festplatte,hat nur ne 20GB drin.Bis zu welcher Größe kann ich in den Rechner reinbauen ohne Probleme, er ist von Mitte 2001 laut Bios.

Hallo Andreas81,

um dir zu helfen brauchen wir wesentlich mehr Informationen. Zum Beispiel welches Mainboard verwendet wird. Erstelle doch nach dieser Anleitung einen Bericht mit Everest und stelle ihn mit in den Thread.

Was für eine Festplattengröße maximal erkannt wird hängt meist vom BIOS-Stand ab, so solltest du zumindest das letzte aktuelle BIOS aufspielen.

doku Ich habe leider kein Buch dazu,sitz an meinem Pc. Ich weiß nur,das es ein Intel-Chipsatz war.

nur mal so als anhaltspunkt habe in einen rechner mit einem pentium mit 500 mhz eine 80 gb ide festplatte eingebaut und er läuft bis heute problem los.
das bios des genannten rechners wurde auch nie upgedatet.
ich denke eine 80 gb festplatte dürfte kein problem darstellen.
sollte ich unrecht haben so korrigiert mich bitte.
