nochmal eine Frage zum MSO Cache Ordner
muß der eigentlich immer da sein oder kann man den doch mal löschen?

was stört dich denn an dem Ordner?
der verbraucht kein Strom, ist nicht verrückt nach neuen Schuhen und gießen mußt du ihn auch nicht großes Grinsen

also Finger weg davon wenn du Installations und Update Problem vermeiden willst !

den Fehler hatte ich auch gemacht und siehe da, das SP lies sich nicht installieren

guckt euch einfach mal an, was da im Ordner drin ist

unter Files/PFiles seht ihr woher das alles stammt

den Inhalt des Ordners könnt ihr über die Datenträgerbereinigung löschen

es wird dann das allermeiste vom Inhalt weggeputzt, was noch wichtig ist, bleibt erhalten, also nicht manuell nachhelfen !

den MSO Cache Ordner hatte ich schon zweimal komplett gelöscht
jedes mal gabs wieder probleme beim office Update, entweder gabs Fehlermeldungen oder es lief nicht komplett durch

so wie Collaris es beschrieben hat mach ich es jetzt seit November auch, seit dem alles in Butti Augenzwinkern

ja wie gesagt, es geht beides

bei so großen Updates ziehe ich aber die lokale Installation vor, wenn die Internetleitung wegbricht fängst du wieder von vorne an und das Risiko ist mir zu hoch

darum: große Servicepacks immer auf Festplatte herunterladen und von dort am besten im abgesicherten Modus von Windows installieren

ich sags mal so
wenn du Risken vermeiden willst, also das externe Software oder Treiber oder sonst was auf dem System frei herumwursteln dürfen, ist der abgesicherte Modus die einzige Alternative für eine sauber Installation eines Servicepacks

alles andere ist wie Lottospielen
