hallo allerseits!

ich habe mit der zeitschrift C'T auch die suse 9.3 erstanden.leider gelang es mir nicht,das system ohne den suse eigenen bootmanager zu installieren.
denn ich moechte die suse nur mit einer diskette starten.
habe ich etwas uebersehen,oder geht es womoeglich garnicht?

vielen dank im voraus! verwirrt

warum liest du in der c't nicht auf Seite 170 die FAQ's zu der DVD?, dort steht, wie man das Ganze mit Diskette startet? Augenzwinkern

hallo the unlocker,danke fuer den tip,auch wenn er nicht geholfen hat.
ich habe gelesen.und die S.170 ? na ja,das ist doch ein ganz anderes ding.

was denn für ein anderes Ding? verwirrt

dort steht:

Im Verzeichnis /boot der DVD befinden sich die notwendigen Dateien, um unter Linux Boot-Disketten zu erstellen. Die Datei LIESMICH enthält eine Anleitung. Unter Windows lassen sich die Disketten leider nicht erzeugen.

oder was meinst du?

dann beschreib es bitte so, das auch wir Doofen das verstehen

in meiner augabe (13.06.2005) steht auf der seite 170 ein artikel von
andre kramer ueber such-programme.
ich bin hier auf dem board stets kompetent beraten worden,es kaeme mir
nie in den sinn,jemanden fuer einen "doofen" zu halten,nur weil moeglicherweise ein missverstaendnis vorliegt.

und ich rede von der Ausgabe 14 vom 26.6. 2005, da sind auf Seite 170 die FAQ's zur DVD, du kannst sie aber auch online lesen: klick
