Neues Update für Outlook 2002

Microsoft has released an update to Microsoft Outlook 2002 Service Pack 2 (SP-2). This update fixes an instability problem introduced in Microsoft Office XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) that affects Microsoft Outlook Post Office Protocol version 3 (POP3) and Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) clients. This update also fixes a vulnerability that could allow an attacker to send a malformed message, which would make the user’s Microsoft Outlook session unresponsive. Additionally, this update includes security fixes and corrects other issues in Microsoft Outlook 2002 SP-2.
