Hi,
kann ich bei Windows xp den Second Level Cache von 256kb auf 512kb hoch setzen, wenn ich ein Amd 64 +2800 habe.

Taktrate: 1,8 GHz
Cache: 128 KB Level 1, 512KB Level 2
Befehlssätze: 3DNow! / SSE2
Bustakt (MHz): 1600 Hypertransport
Core Spannung (V): 1,5
I/O Spannung (V): 3,3
Bauform: Sockel 754
Fertigungsprozess: 0,13 µm

oder ist hier nicht dieser Cache gemeint ?

Microsoft schreibt diesbezüglich folgendes:

"This records the amount of L2 cache that is available on the processors. Some sites advocate that there is a default value and by changing you can significantly improve performance.
Microsoft states changing settings in the registry is erroneous and that the second level (L2) cache is recognized by the NT/W2K/XP. They state that it is fully utilized regardless of the setting of this parameter."
